At Tickety-Boo, we do an amazing 'Mama Butter' with Magnesium, which is basically the same as the Medicine butter but without the DMSO. Even though I highly doubt DMSO is damaging to a foetus, there is not enough testing for me to feel comfortable enough to recommended it to pregnant Mama's, so i make a version without, which is still sublimely effective as you need usually need Magnesium supplementation during pregnancy.
The reason I have included this Rich, Salve-like Butter, in our inventory is because it came so highly recommended to me by the Mothers who initially tested it for me. Some of them actually preferred it to my own version of a 'Belly-Butter' that I was experimenting with before the magnesium Mama butter.
It comes in a nice generous-size tub, and is very rich and emollient. It feels divine as it melts into skin and the smell is heavenly, which is really strange as there is no fragrance or essential oil listed on the label. The sweet floral scent is one of my most favourite aspects of this formulation.
Although this is labelled for 'pregnancy', it really is a completely versatile product that could be applied by anyone as a rich, nourishing, deeply moisturising body butter, preferably after a shower so it can absorb swiftly.BENEFITS OF INGREDIENTS:JOJOBA BUTTER* Reduces wrinkles and stretch marks.* Helps lighten and heal scars.* Acts as a humectant by creating a protective film over skin and hair shaft that seals in moisture.* Dissolves clogged pores and returns skin to natural pH balance.* Penetrates pores and hair follicles rapidly to reduce water loss.* Feels non-greasy.* Aids spreadability and lubricity.* Effective conditioner, moisturiser and softener for skin and hair.OLIVE OIL
Using olive oil for scar removal and better elasticity, is one way pregnant women can help erase stretch marks before and after pregnancy. Olive oil works wonders on the skin as a healing agent and, in addition to stretch marks, it can be used on scars, scar tissue, cuts, scrapes, and acne scarring. Olive Oil has an SPF of around 12+.BLACK SEED OIL
The organic oil of Black Seed provides cleansing and purifying qualities while it's a wonderful moisturiser for both skin and hair. Black Seed supports cell renewal, connective tissues are strengthened, blood supply to the skin is stimulated and the skin is revitalised. BEESWAX

It also is a naturally nourishing moisturiser as well as being anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and a germicidal antioxidant.SUNFLOWER OIL
High vitamin E content. The health benefits of consuming vitamin E, or using it on the skin, have been studied for years and can be beneficial to your body in a variety of ways. Compared to other oils commonly used in skin care products, such as almond oil or shea butter, sunflower oil contains an extremely high amount of vitamin E. This vitamin is crucial in the prevention of damage to sensitive skin cells by ultraviolet light, or UVA, from the sun. Additionally, studies have shown that vitamin E may prevent scarring, smooth the appearance of existing wrinkles and generally improve the appearance and health of your skin.SHEA BUTTER
Used as a base for medicinal ointments and has been claimed to have anti-inflammatory properties.Internationally acclaimed to be an effective treatment for the following conditions: Fading scars, eczema, burns, rashes, acne, severely dry skin, blemishes, dark spots, skin discolouration, chapped lips, stretch marks, wrinkles, and in lessening the irritation of psoriasis.VITAMIN E
An excellent topical ointment for reducing scars. You can use Vitamin E on old scars and on new wounds, to reduce permanent scarring. Scar tissue is stubborn skin that comes from burns, old wounds and surgeries. Pure Vitamin E oil is helpful for scar healing and prevention because it goes beneath the surface of skin to block free radicals. Free radicals are especially harmful to scar tissue because they prohibit healing.JOJOBA OIL
Nearly identical in chemical structure to the natural oils in our skin and hair. Jojoba Oil is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy residue. ALMOND OIL
Using sweet almond oil is beneficial for strengthening and moisturising your skin so that if you do get stretch marks, they are less severe than they would be without an emollient oil to help fortify your skin.
