THE FAMOUS 4xHERB FORMULA
SO, WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU, LET ME INTRODUCE TO YOU THE KEY HERBAL COMPONENTS THAT COMPRISE THE CURRENT STANDARD, INDUSTRY-RECOGNISED, FORMULA KNOWN AS THE 'BLACK SALVE'.............
1) BLOODROOT - WAR ON CANCER CELLS
Bloodroot (Sanuinara canadensis) has a rich Native American background. It's nickname, 'war-paint', gives an indication to its value and importance to the early Indian culture. The common name of 'Bloodroot' came about because of the red sap that would 'bleed' from the flowers Many tribes used it as a dye for clothing and baskets and for face-paint.
Bloodroot is used in herbal medicine in very small doses, mainly for bronchial problems and severe throat infections. The root is used in many pharmaceuticals, mixed with other compounds to treat heart problems, dental applications (to inhibit plaque), and to treat migraines. Bloodroot paste is used externally for skin diseases, warts, and tumors. For ringworm apply the fluid extract. Bloodroot is said to repel insects. The root is used in as an anesthetic, cathartic, emetic, emmenagogue, expectorant, diuretic, febrifuge, sedative, stimulant and tonic. It's antibiotic properties have proven so effective that is has even been approved by the FDA as a toothpaste ingredient!
Hundreds of studies so far have demonstrated the connection between the plant antioxidant Sanguinarine and cancer. This suggests that this unique substance found in bloodroot may have chemotherapeutic (cancer killing) properties.
- According to a study published by the University of Minnesota Medical School that looked specifically at Native American healing modalities, researchers found that the Sanguinarine in bloodroot can “block proliferation and induce apoptosis in a number of different transformed and malignant cell types.” Study researchers discovered in particular that Sanguinarine, in a dose-dependent manner, is effective on certain kinds of skin cancer even when pharmaceutical drugs are not: “Of particular interest from a chemotherapeutic standpoint, Sanguinarine suppresses the growth of squamous carcinoma cells more effectively than normal foreskin keratinocytes, and inhibits the growth of a number of multidrug resistant cell lines,” researchers noted.
- The proliferation of cancer cells in the blood is a hallmark of leukemia. Any substances that can restore apoptosis (cancer cell death) show promise for leukemia healing. A very recent study published in the May 2016 edition of the journal Free Radical Biology and Medicine discovered that Sanguinarine in bloodroot can stimulate cancer cell death through the “activation of caspase cascade, DNA fragmentation and down-regulation of anti-apoptotic proteins” in laboratory leukemia cells
- A 2013 Korean study published in the journal Toxicology discovered that the same processes mentioned above − inducing of cancer cell mitochondrial dysfunction − allowed Sanguinarine to effect colorectal cancer tumor growth.
- A 2011 study at the University of California, Davis, found that Sanguinarine had a marked effect on prostate cancer as well. This was mainly through its effect on the protein survivin.
-
The most exciting discovery as to what Sanguinarine can do is on breast cancer cells. The same University of Minnesota study also discovered that Sanguinarine had an effect on breast cancer cells after a single application. DNA synthesis of breast cancer tumors (MCF-7) led to tumor growth inhibition. Some aspects of this inhibition remained in place for at least three days after single administering (others came back after 24 hours). The overall results lead the University of Minnesota researchers to conclude that Sanguinarine may be able to “suppress breast cancer cell proliferation for extended lengths of time.”

2) CHAPARRAL- THE GOVERNESS

NDGA (Nordihydroguaiaretic acid), a compound found in chaparral, is a powerful antioxidant that helps to prevent the kind of cell damage that can lead to cancer. NDGA inhibits aerobic and anaerobic glycolysis (the energy-producing ability) of cancer cells. It appears to work against cancer cells by preventing them from "eating" the blood sugar they need to survive - in other words, it starves them to death. There is documentation that NDGA inhibits tumorous cell activity in both men and mice. This includes leukemia type tumors. In mice experiments, NDGA combined with vitamin C was more successful than when used alone. Sometime soon I will produce a Lyposomal Vitamin C which I believe will combine beautifully with both the 'Black Salvation' & 'Chap Caps', syngeristically increasing combined efficacy.
Many years ago, NDGA was used to relieve pain, before aspirin became popular. Experiments on hamsters demonstrated that NDGA somehow inhibited tooth decay and increased the life span of the animals. NDGA is also used in alcoholism treatment, liver disorders and geriatrics.. It also has an antitumor effect. NDGA was used to prevent oxidation from spoiling foods during World War II.
3) GRAVIOLA - NATURE'S CHEMOTHERAPY
Graviola is also called 'Soursop' and guyabano, or the scientific name, Annona muricata. While the fruit-bearing tree can also be used medicinally by utilizing the fruit, roots, and bark, the leaves themselves contain the highest concentrations of the active ingredient, acetogenin. Soursop also helps with endocrine system problems, and supports the liver, kidneys, thyroid, pancreas, intestines, gall bladder, ovaries, and prostate. It has even been shown to reduce brain tumors and halt breast cancer.
The leaf of the Peruvian Graviola tree was discovered nearly 25 years ago as a wonderful way to prohibit abnormal cell division – in other words, cancer – and similar diseases of metastasizing, unhealthy cells. Graviola contains cytotoxic compounds that destroy cancer cells with ‘lethal precision’ while leaving healthy cells unharmed. By seeking out cells higher in the production of ATP, this tree’s natural compounds are able to kill cancer cells and leave healthy ones alone.
Graviola has been tested widely in over 20 labs since the 1970’s, but many of the results have not been published (or released to the public, more likely). But the National Cancer Institute confirms that the tree’s active compounds attack and destroy cancer cells exceptionally well. It has been shown to be effective in treating malignant cells in 12 different types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung, and pancreatic cancers.
Compared to a commonly prescribed cancer drug, Adriamycin, often given to chemotherapy patients, Graviola is said to be 10,000 times stronger than the drug at halting cancerous cell division. These results were confirmed at the Catholic University of South Korea and published in the "Journal of Natural Products'. Purdue University has also found that Graviola leaves are anti-tumorous. Even tumors that were resistant to chemotherapy treatments responded well to the active compounds in Graviola leaves.
Aside from what we’ve mentioned above, other Graviola benefits include:
1. Stronger immune systemGraviola has a lot of excellent properties that are necessary to keep your immune system strong. These properties kill free radicals and ensure your immune system is at optimum health so it can effectively perform its functions such as warding off diseases.
2. Regular bowel movementsGraviola is rich in fiber which means that when you consume it regularly, you can expect regular bowel movements. With Graviola, you don’t have to worry about constipation and hemorrhoids.
3. Increased energyGraviola has properties that keep your body active and energized so you won’t feel lethargic all day.
4. Osteoporosis preventionGraviola is rich in calcium and phosphorous to help strengthen the bones and prevent bone and joint diseases such as osteoporosis.
5. Heart disease and nerve disease preventionBecause graviola can aid in proper blood circulation, boost metabolism and prevent damage to your nerves, you will have a better functioning heart and your nervous system will also be less likely to get damaged as you grow older.
Although there has not been enough scientific evidence to back up some claims, it’s been widely believed that sour sop leaves can also treat gout by lowering the uric acid in the body. Simply boil 6 – 10 leaves with 2 cups of water and drink one cup twice a day. For those suffering from back pain and rheumatism, you can benefit from the use of Graviola extract obtained from its leaves, by drinking it hot once a day. Graviola is also believed to help prevent infection by inhibiting the growth of viruses, bacteria and parasites.
4) GALANGAL - THE SPICE OF LIFE
Galangal is an herb that comes from the ginger family and belongs to genus Alpinia. It is native to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia and has been used in both Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine since ancient times. Galangal was first brought from Asia to England and northern Europe in the 13th century by the crusaders and soon became a popular spice as well as medicine.
The Medieval mystic Hildegard of Bingen recommended the herb as a tonic for the heart, and called it 'the spice of life' and said it was a gift from God meant to keep disease at bay.
The galangal rhizomes contain volatile oil, methyl cinnamate, eugenol and volatile diarylheptanoids, known as Galangal. Furthermore, the plant contains gingerol, flavonoids (galangin, galangin-3-methyl ether and Kaempferide), starch, tannins and resins.
The medical applications of galangal are in many ways the same as its close relative ginger. It is a bitter herb that is used to promote digestion and stimulate appetite and production of digestive fluids. The herb is therefore used to treat anorexia, indigestion (dyspepsia), colic and stomach ache.It is also used traditionally for hiccups, nausea, vomiting, chronic gastritis and ulcers in the digestive tract. This herb has analgesic (relieving pain) and antipyretic (reducing fever) properties and it may also help reduce bacterial and fungal infections. The root stock of galangal has shown inhibitory effect in vitro on many pathogenic bacteria like anthrax bacillus, hemolytic streptococcus and various strains of staphylococcus.
Galangal is often recommended for motion sickness and morning sickness, an effect that is primarily attributed to ginger. Galangal can also be applied as a treatment for infections of the upper respiratory tract such as chronic bronchitis and cough. An extract of the root is used as a mouthwash and a gargle for mouth ulcers, gum inflammation and other inflammation in the mouth and throat and as a treatment for bad breath (halitosis)
In traditional Chinese medicine galangal root is regarded as a warming herb that can be used for stomach pain, vomiting, hiccups and diarrhea. In the Middle East there is a tradition of using the herb as a remedy for rheumatic pains and arthritis. The herb is used extensively in the Indonesian cuisine and it’s a basic spice in the Indonesian national dish 'nasi goreng', a rice dish cooked with vegetables, meat, gravy, fruit and mushrooms. Galangal is used as a seasoning in many meat, vegetable and fish dishes and it’s also an important ingredient in many spice blends that originate from the Far East.
